This site was made to help inform people of the Mill Street jail that could be coming!
We were shocked to fined out that the city would even think to have something like this happen and want to stop it ASAP.
We need to show that we do not want MGM to move the jail to Mill ST!

If you make three calls that can make a BIG difference!
Call Sheriff Ashe at: 413-547-8000 and our City Councilor; Melvin Edwards at 413-348-8056 or:melvinspeaks@msn.com. Tell them we don’t want this in our neighborhood!!
Call the City Council office at: 413-787-6170; ask that all the councilors be given the same message: Maple High says: NO JAIL because of the South End Casino Plan!!
This can make a real difference.

We also want to give a big thank you to Zaida Luna, the Ward 1 member of the City Council and a member of the casino site committee for her concern with moving a jail into our neighborhood. We need more of our elected officials to take notice.
